Hi, Im currently experiencing random reboots on "IDLE" on 2x4GB G Skill RIPJAWS X F3-12800CL9-4GBXL. No BSOD, after the reboots, the RAM LED blinks infinitely which means DRAM error based on the motherboard manual. I tried 4GB one stick ram and no problem idling on 8 HOURS. The reboot occurs only when im on IDLE when leaving my rendering/downloads. There is no problem while im using it, only when IDLE for 30-40 mins then it REBOOTS.

My specs:

intel core i7 3770
G Skill F3-12800CL9-4GBXL 2x4GB 1600 9-9-9-24
ASUS P8Z77 V LK
HD 6770
2x1TB HDD
Thermaltake 600w

windows 7 x64, BIOS is FULLY updated

NO overclocking done, BIOS at DEFAULT SETTINGS
Memory running at factory settings.

I tried 3 PSUs already but still same.
Only happens when running at dual channel 8GB

or do I need a specific BIOS settings. Im currently running at defaults.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

did you try to underclock it to 1066
did you try your new RAM on other PC
even if your i3 running on 32 bit you can test each one separately,
ty to overvoltage it to 1.6v at 1600
any volt under 1.65 is safe

not yet, why would i underclock it to 1066 if i bought 1600, its better to RMA it if goes like that. I'll try in on my i3 PC but its only running 32bit OS

Both stick passed 3 hours of memtest individually. I think i solved my problem by reattaching all wires and connectors from psu to mb. I left it for 8 hours to render and it didnt reboot. Ill try to do 24hour stress test to see if finally fixed the problem. Btw i have set it to xmp mode.
