[SOLVED] BIOS refuses to detect my flash drive

I have an USB flash drive that has a w10 ISO, ready to install, but my laptop can't detect it no matter how many times I try to reconfigure the BIOS boot settings and such. I used Rufus to put the ISO in the USB stick and I know it works.

What is your laptop?

I don't know what model it is exactly, but it's an Argentine brand (Bangho) and it's old as hell (2012). It's got a 2nd gen i3, 4gb of RAM and a 500gb HDD, if that helps.

Is it possible for you to put the Windows 10 ISO on a DVD instead of the USB drive?

Known from past experience, some older computers really dislike booting from USB and if it's possible you could try burning a dvd and using the dvd drive to install windows.
