Question BIOS screen is just a blank red square???

When I hold F2 to get into BIOS it will go to the screen but instead of looking like the BIOS screen, it's a red square that gets darker and lighter. Pressing escape and then enter on the screen will darken it and then start like normal.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz
Motherboard: Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard
Ram: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32 GB
SSD/HDD: Samsung 860 Evo 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive / Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460
PSU: SeaSonic FOCUS PX 850 W 80+ Platinum
Chassis: Lian Li LANCOOL II-X ATX Mid Tower Case
OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit
Monitor: ASUS VG248QG 24" Full HD 1920 x 1080 0.5ms

and CPU-Z says the BIOS rand is "American Megatrends Inc." and the version is 2311

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list them like so:

If you've got the OS installed and are able to get into the GUI, use CPU-Z to see what your current BIOS version is at the time of writing.
