BIOS setting fail to save settings on every boot up

BIOS setting fail to save settings on every boot up and there is no error message on bios startup page where it shows peripherals list and "american megatrends" logo..
What could be causing this?

Happens on every boot up after shut down.

the watch type battery in the motherboard is failing buy a new one then everything should be fine only 3-4 £
