Bios show up on monitor but Windows dosent?

I booted up my computer, and bios was a lower resolution than normal.
It gave me the option to start Windows normally or start in safe mode, so I started normally. The screen then showed static and went blank. The startup noises still happend, I typed my password and I heard the login noise, and I head Skype open but i still couldn't see anything. I then turned it of by the plug and launched it in safe mode. I could see everything on the screen fine. I then restored the system to 3 days ago and it still doesn't work?

The only thing I can think of is maybe Windows is stuck on a resolution that doesn't work for your screen. That would make sense why it works while in safe mode. Do you know what video card drivers you need and are they up to date? I would try updating your video card drivers in safe mode.

I just turned it back on and it was fine so it might have been too hot
