[SOLVED] BIOS update and Bitlocker

Hi

I have a Z490 MB and want to update my BIOS to take advantage of the resizable BAR feature.

I am confident in how to complete the update and happy knowing what settings I need to re-enter after the update. However when I go to flash using EZ Flash a warning appears reminding me to back up Bitlocker recovery key and suspend Bitlocker encryption.

Is this a generic warning? I have windows home which I know doesn’t have Bitlocker.

It's generic then. If you want peace of mind thenlog ito your MS account and verify that it's not listed there either.

I have check MS account under security and system and nothing there. Cheers
