[SOLVED] BIOS Update and Overclocking

I have been wondering about this for some time, and finally decided to ask. My (older) PC has a stable OC right now, but the motherboard BIOS version is several updates behind. I have always worried that updating the BIOS might somehow alter my OC settings and, I'd lose that stability. Am I right? Is there this possibility, or can I go ahead and update to the latest BIOS version w/o worry?
Btw, several of those updates are listed as "Improve system stability."

only update bios if it fix something or add new feature that you need.
and yes. you will need to redo the OC.
