Specs:
MOBO: MSI H61MU-E35 (B3)
CPU: old-Celeron g530 New- Core i5 3470
RAM: 8gb 2x4gb A-Tech 1600Mhz DDR3
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050Ti
COOLER: Coolermaster Hyper T2
PSU: Thermaltake Tough Power 650W Semi Modular
STORAGE: Seagate Barracuda 250gb

I recently had to update my bios to support the cpu i just bought.
the bios said it updated successfully but then restarted to a black screen with an error code B2 at the bottom. I researched into this and figured out that its my gpu that is causing issues. Then i tested to see if my gpu was dead in a different PC guess what. ITS NOT! then I try to boot into windows and some boot file gets corrupted. then I decide to try an old Nvidia 8400 Gs and it boots up into the bios fine.I also decided to put my new cpu in while I'm at it and it booted up fine So right now I'm at a loss, I'm no expert so I need help. if anyone can diagnose my issue it would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
After BIOS update usually BIOS settings get reset to default values.
So if there were some custom settings, then you have to change them back.

Does your system boot into windows with the new cpu and 8400 GS ?

UPDATE!!
after windows got done fixing it's self I managed to try and update the bios again to a different version this time it worked and my 1050 ti is working great with my core i5
Thanks so much for the help even though i managed it myself
