Bios update confusion

Hello. I want to update my bios as I get blue screen of death when I'm gaming and tell me Sth about bios. But I do not one what to update as my motherboard is BIOSTAR GROUP G31-M7TE and my BIOS is American Megatrends Inc. I do now which bios update I should be getting from. Please help me!

It is most unlikely that a bios update will fix your gaming problem.
Do not update a bios just on speculation; a failed flash can render your motherboard useless, possibly permanently.

Whenever you update BIOS, it is best to update it to newest version. As you can see in Download section on that page, the newest one is "G31CM201.BSS" dated on 2010-02-01. So first thing would be to check what is your current BIOS date, and if it is older, you should download the above file and also BIOS Update Manual file and follow the instruction. However if your current BIOS date is also 2010-02-01, then you have nothing to update.
