BIOS update - do you think I should do it?

Just checked my motherboard's drivers page since I'm going to download the latest drivers and I noticed that there's a newer BIOS version than the one currently installed and it says: Improve system performance. Should I update the bios? I honestly haven’t noticed any problems, but anytime there’s a chance to improve performance I’ll take it since I’m a gamer, but I'm not really sure if those improvements are game-related.

My motherboard is ASUS PRIME H310-PLUS.

I took the plunge this morning. I hadn't updated drivers or bios on my 1.5 year old desktop PC. I have a Gigabyte mobo and used their App tool to do the bios update. I backup everything first. Then, did the bios update. It all went smoothly - no issues. I just made sure to leave the PC alone during the whole process, until it was finished.

Yeah, I think you're right. Not worth the risk, but I was kinda tempted by that performance improvement statement tbh

Glad it worked out for you man. I mean, my build is only like 2 weeks old max, and honestly so far it's running smoothly. The moment I feel like I'm having performance issues while gaming however, I won't think twice about updating it. Till then, this should do, but that performance improvement is kinda tempting though xD
