I was updating the BIOS on my laptop and bricked it. Found the motherboard: It's the Acer NBMLC11005

My question: can the BIOS be recovered on this motherboard? Is there a jumper somewhere? I'm hesitant to take it apart unless I know what I'm looking for. I'm more likely to do damage than not unless I have a little help. I've done RAM upgrades, video card upgrades and processor replacements in the past, but I've had YouTube videos for those. If I had a little help from the community I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

I couldn't find a manual, but I think it's one of these: https://www.google.com/search?q=%22NBMLC11005%22&tbm=isch&source=lnt&tbs=isz:lt,islt:xga&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj7qODkieTVAhUBQBQKHU8zBlcQpwUIHw&biw=2329&bih=862&dpr=1#imgrc=_

The only screen I get is a line of code that says "no bootable drive found."

Thanks everyone, but the drive does not spin. It does not pass POST. Pressing the key to enter BIOS does nothing because the BIOS was borked during an update. Pressing the power key results in an IMMEDIATE error code of "no bootable drive found." That's all I get.

So far all I have to go on is removing the CMOS battery. But if there is a BIOS reset jumper on the motherboard I don't know about, that would really help.

There is a solution here for anyone who has a similar problem with an Acer laptop not booting after a failed BIOS update.

Quote "The most common keys to enter Setup on Acer hardware are F2 and Delete. On older computers, try F1 or the key combination CTRL+ALT+ESC. If your computer features an ACER BIOS, YOU CAN RESTORE THE BIOS TO BOOTABLE SETTINGS by pressing and holding the F10 key. Once you hear two beeps, settings have been restored." /Quote

Thanks everyone for your help.
