Is it hard to update the bios on a brand new computer before using broadwell-e cpus on intel x99 chipsets. Also, I am thinking of getting a computer with this circumstance, how would you go about updating the bios.

Solution

Bios update 1003 for improved system stability, better RAM support and to speed up boot times.
Available here: https://www.asus.com/au/Motherboards/ROG-RAMPAGE-V-EDITION-10/HelpDesk_Download/
Best method is to use you Bios flashback facility on your rear IO panel. page 2-15 in your MB manual...

No it is not difficult and depends on the MB as there are a number of options. Please list the MB for better advice.

Bios update with i7 6800k and Asus Rampage V Edition 10, for example. Is that what you are asking?

Check the Bios file is R5E10.CAP on your USB stick.
