We have this non branded OPS PC's attached to Promethean Active Panels. We have 35 of them. Whenever the board turns on it gets stuck on POS screen for about 5 min before Windows gets to load. I couldn't find manufacturer of this board to ask for help. Promethean refused to help saying it is not their device only the board is.

I have disassembled and taken pictures of major components and labels. I have an IT background and understand about hardware and software above average. We use this devices for school online teaching. Teachers connect camera to the board and stream their lessons from zoom. Everyday waiting 5 mins before windows loads sucks.

If you look right bottom of the screen there is bios revision A2. It gets stuck there and it changes to B4 then windows loads. It is the same for all of the boards. Tried to format and install fresh windows 10 didn't help. I'm completely lost now.

Please check out the images and help me figure out what to do. Your help is really needed for our institution.

This sounds like something is attempting to start, and either timing out and moving on, or completing something long and then moving on. I doubt it is completing and then moving on because if that were the case, then it would seem there wouldn't be the delay after the first time.

Are you using wired for your networking? One thing to consider, especially with Windows 10, is if it is waiting for using an account login to the remote Microsoft site instead of local login. In the past you could pick to only create a local account during an install, but on more recent Windows 10 you can only do this if the ethernet is not connected during the install...a remote account creation would go away when there is no outside networking. Try installing Win 10 with no networking. See how fast that boots. If it boots correctly, then enable networking and avoid creating any non-local accounts.

If this does not help, then perhaps something is timing out. If this happens on several devices, then I doubt the issue is hardware, although it could be some driver not being compatible for that hardware.

Do you have any kind of ability to enter BIOS setup? If so, then you might just poke around there and see if a setting might be pointing at something incorrectly, e.g., if the first boot device is something other than what you expect.

Thanks for the fast reply.
The PC has only one SSD drive and windows is installed on it. The problem is not windows 10 booting time. In fact windows boots to desktop in less than 10 seconds. After booting PC is usable 100% without waiting and very fast actually. The problem is pre boot. POS Screen. I have tries it while connecting to ethernet cable and without it already. No changes. I have tried with usb device connected and without. No changes at all. The problem is this devices came with the problem on box. We didn't cause it to happen. The company we bought this devices from got shutdown. We can't contact and replace it. If something is timing out as you said I should be able to overcome it by forcing the PC to boot to ssd. But BIOS is already set to boot from ssd which is the only option to boot.

As I indicated on previous post I don't know what this A2 nad B4 meaning and why it is getting stuck on A2. There is something wrong with A2.

So I found out from internet that Error A2 on AMI boards means that boot drive is not found. Do you think that the problem is with sata cable on all devices. If yes why windows boots after sometime without problem and works without problem as long as you don't shut it down.
