Bios update for Win 7,is ok to update with now running Win10?

Toshiba L770-BT4N22 with original Bios for Win7, now running WIN10 and there is a bios update for Win7 . Can I still update the bios with Win10 running?

OR

are you asking...do i have to install win7...then...update the bios...THEN...go back to using win10?!

I have been trying to ask the SAME question...BUT...nobody wants to answer THAT question...they just seem to want to know WHY
