So I own a Ryzen 2200g CPU paired with a A320M-S2H-CF version x.x mother board. I want to know if I need to update my bios when I upgrade my CPU to the Ryzen 7 3700x.
I look up my motherboard model on https://www.gigabyte.com/Support, but I don't find the exact one. the options that pop up when i look up a320m are: A320M-S2H (rev. 3.x), A320M-S2H (rev. 2.0), A320M-H (rev. 3.x), A320M-H (rev. 2.0), and A320M HD3 (rev. 1.0)

Solution
nevermind, I found out that its already 3000 series ready
Regardless you should update your bios to the latest bios available for best compatibility. BIOS updates include various bug fixes, improved memory compatibility, & better CPU performance. I built a rig for my GF with a DS3H & even though it said Ryzen 3000 ready it wouldn't post. I had to get a ryzen 2000 chip, & update the bios before I could get her rig built. So figure out which bios you currently have and then look here > https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-A320M-S2H-rev-1x/support#support-dl-bios
If your bios is older than F52 then update it. This all depends on the revision of your board. If it is a later revision you will have REVISION 3.X then you do...

If your bios is older than F52 then update it. This all depends on the revision of your board. If it is a later revision you will have REVISION 3.X then you do not require a bios update, revisions 2.X and 1.X have had several revisions.

Note: with gigabyte boards you need to perform bios updates consecutively
so you need to figure out what bios you currently have & install the bios update that follows & so on, the latest bios is F52
do not skip to F52 if you have an older revision, install one after the other or you will brick your board
