bios update issue

went to asus got bios update when clicking on file after extract alert tells me no program to complete action add program whatshould I do

1) Verify that you actually need to update the BIOS. If you do not need to update the BIOS, DON'T DO IT!
2) Once you've verified that you actually need to update the BIOS, read and follow the VERY SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS that ASUS provides for your motherboard's BIOS updates.

what if I did that is there a program to run zip file def need update I have 0606 and the update is 0603 cold it also be that my copy of windows is not genuine even though it runs I cant update anything windows
