[SOLVED] BIOS update needed to upgrade CPU?

Hi, I'm upgrading my CPU in a couple of days from a Pentium g4400 to a g4560, and I'm using a MSI b250m pro-vd motherboard. I currently am running American Megatrends BIOS version 1.40 (4/6/2017), so will I need to update my BIOS before upgrading my CPU?

These show a different BIOS version then I'm currently running though (Shows v7A74v10), but I'm running a BIOS from American Megatrends (1.40). I think these are from different companies, so in that case would I need the update?

they are all american megatrends.
so you are running 1.4 and it min is 1.0
