[SOLVED] Bios update needed UF Z390-PLUS GAMING (WI-FI)?

Hello,

In the process of upgrading my ASUS MB
TUF Z390-PLUS GAMING (WI-FI) processor from i5 9600k to a i9-9900k.
The MB Bios is presently 2603 using Win 10 1909.
Will I have to upgrade the Bios?

If your BIOS currently supports a 9600K, it doesn't need a BIOS update to support a 9900K.

2603 added support for the KS variant of the 9900, so you've no compatibility issues from it strictly 'working'.
The later BIOS versions improve memory support & stability. If you have no stability issues, and your current RAM is stable at it's XMP profile, there's likely no noticeable benefit to be had in upgrading.
