BIOS update OEM licence

So,

before BIOS update. I m worried to update my Motherboard BIOS. I have OEM licence and then a lot of talks in internet about the activation issue makes me scared to do it.
How i can protect myself? What are the measurments that i have to take in count before : Call microsoft?

A BIOS update will not trigger any action with your Windows license.

USAFRet is correct - - updating motherboard BIOS won't affect your Windows licence or activation status.

Changing the motherboard itself would, but that's a whole different scenario - - may be that's what you're confusing it with?

I just want to be safe. I would not change it. I just want my better memory perfomance for Ryzen - and i have just new build, lot money spent , i cant afford any more mistekes

For the BIOS update, you do it exactly how the motherboard manufacturer states. No deviations, no utube....
Exactly how they say to do it.

Have I update BIOS ? When latest BIOS is 1201.
Do I have to download ASEGA 1006 memory update?
