BIOS update on GIGABYTE B85M D3H

I downloaded the BIOS from the gigabyte website. When i am trying to install, I am getting an incompatibility message.

I think you have to put it on something bootable with DOS on it. Then boot from it.

Since its got an autoexec.bat file in the zipped file

You dont / cant run it in windows
