bios update problem

Hi, I have Fujitsu seimens esprimo p2540 with motherboard ''D2840'' and I wanted to update BIOS. But I have problem when I try to install system detection sofrware from official fujitsu support site. So, is there any other way to find corresponding BIOS update except on the official site? Thank you.

Why are you wanting to update the bios? If the system is running fine, the I would not update the bios. Tje only reason to update the bios is if you are having an issue that is directly addressed in a bios update - otherwise it isn't worth the risk.

I have the issue with RAM. There is 3GB of ram installed on PC, but system uses only 1GB. I tried to solve it with reinstalling operating system, it did not work. I tried with ''msconfig'' did not work. I thought that I could solve my problem with updating BIOS, that is why I ask. Thank you.
