I have an MSI H61MU-E35 (B3)
and I'am trying to update to the latest version of the bios so the board will support the ivy bridge processors. I have downloaded the version that I need and ran the executable, everything seems to go fine until the rebooting stage. it just boots straight into windows and does not even try to boot from the usb. And I know that this usb is bootable I've done it before.
If anyone can think of a solution to my problem it would be greatly appreciated

thanks

Solution
You need to change the boot priority sequence in the BIOS settings. There should be an option to move your OS drive down to be the second boot device and USB Hard Drive device as first boot priority.

Alright I've gotten it to boot from the USB but now it says to remove disks and then press any key to restart.
Now obviously I'm not going to remove it but when i press a key it boots straight back into windows

Wow that's never happened to me. Then temporarily disconnect the SATA cables to all other drive devices and just have that USB drive attached.
