Not familiar with ASRock and have not had a AMD processor before. Will I have problems updating the bios on the ASRock x570M Pro4 with a AMD 5600x installed if it is not supported by the current bios? Or will I need to get / borrow a supported AMD to do the bios update? Have not received the CPU yet, and just getting ready to order the motherboard.

Solution
It sort of depends which bios version is on motherboard when you get it but... for Bios version 3.0 it says this

From Bios page
To support Renoir/Ryzen™ 5000 processors, it requires to update the BIOS with Matisse CPU. .
It appears you need a RX3k series CPU to flash the bios to RX5k

Some motherboards let you flash bios without a CPU attached, seems your motherboard isn't one of those.
