Question BIOS update without cpu for z690 taking a long time

So im flashing my bios without a cpu on a z690 EDGE WIFI DDR4 i bought to support the 13th gen cpus, but its been almost 40 minutes and the light is still flashing, what should i do?

UPDATE: i unplugged the psu and plugged it back in, went back 1 bios date later and have been waiting for another 20 minutes now.
