BIOS update without old CPU

I installed a new CPU without checking my BIOS situation. As it turns out, I need a BIOS update but my old CPU is damaged. It fell down and bent a few of the prongs. Is there a way to update the BIOS with the new processor?

You must have a compatible cpu to upgrade the Bios so get one from a friend or buy the cheapest compatible one or try to see if the manufacturer could update that for you.

Which board is it?
Some newer asus board can flash the bios without a cpu (see usb bios flashback)

I decided to take it to a shop and have some people work on it. I have a gigabyte motherboard and tried the usb update but I wasn't able to get a display on my pc. Hopefully I won't need a new mobo but I'll see what happens. Thanks for all your time and help!
