Bios update x64

I have the GA-P55A-UD3 (Ver 1.0) mother board with f4 bios.I want to update the Bios but when i try to update it says that i need the 64 bit version . I tried downloading "@BIOS (Intel 6/7 series) " 64 bit but after runnning the setup it says error 0x80040707

Hello... what method are you using to flash the Bio's? DOS or Windows flash utility? Did verifiy your motherboard Revison #? look on your motherboard for correct # and make sure your using the correct BIO's with correct Revision.

Windows flash utility ,yes i did check the revision number it is correct aswell.

Im running windows 7 64x and i tried to use this @BIOS (Intel 6/7 series) Version:B12.0723.1 2012/12/19-> http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/Utility.aspx

Hello... your motherboard page shows @BIO's version B11.1004.1 http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3242&dl=#utility and you have F11 available http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3242&dl=#bios I'm assuming you have a intel 5 series board P55a? Good thing it didn't flash.

So the bios on the motherboard page is for the 32 bit pc and there is no 64x i tried downloading BIOS Version:B11.1004. Date 2011/10/04 from
http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/Utility.aspx but i got the same error as previously ;_; .

Hello... Does the Bios utility APP run/open/install? after you un-zip it and install it with setup file? it runs on my Windows 7 64 bit computer just fine... and I have a series 7 intel board... it reads my motherboard and bios version... but i didn't try to flash anything for obvious reasons... do you have something blocked/locked/passworded, in your BIO's settings? Security settings? do you have UEFI enabled in the BIO's?

What was the end fix for this? I'm trying to update the bios on a P55A-UD3R Rev 1.0 board and having no luck.
