I recently bought a Ryzen 3600, in hope to replace my 2400G which didn't seem to be able to fully utilize my GTX 1660.
However, I have no idea whether or not to update my BIOS. I've done some research online and people are advising me not to update my BIOS unless necessary. I bought my motherboard (Gigabyte Asrock AB-350m ds2) with my cpu two years ago, and at that time, third-gen Ryzen processors haven't been released yet. If I were to install the new cpu without updating my BIOS, would it be able to boot up?
