[SOLVED] Bios update

Guys this is very quick. I tried updating my bios and I got the blue screen with Windows ran into an error. We're restarting your pc for you. Please help me asap

EDIT: Are you referring to the BIOS update being disrupted by a restart as Zerk has stated?

My gigabyte mobo restarts automaticly after 5 seconds

Did it restart during the BIOS update or restarts when you boot up ever since the update?

Reset CMOS and try it again. The good thing about the GB boards most have dual BIOS so you can revert back.

EDIT what board do you have.

For future reference NEVER update the BIOS unless your having problems with the board that the update addresses. A lot of people here will tell you to update the BIOS well that is 100% not me never fix something that is not broke BAD crap can happen!!!!!!!!

Guys I don't even know what I've done, but I somehow installed the windows again and I have the new bios.
The only bad thing is that I lost all the apps and files instaled before. Can I get them back somehow?

Reinstall all of them from the original installation media. They cannot be recovered from a drive that's been formatted and had Windows installed over the top of what was there. Files can be restored from the most recent backup.

What do you mean by "original installation media". And I didn't do a backup

"Original installation media" means exactly that, the media that your software originally came on, whether it be diskette, CD, or other. And, no backup means that you just learned a valuable lesson.
