[SOLVED] Bios update

My board is a B550M PRO-VDH WIFI now im a little bit scared to do a bios update because of the bricking boards and stuff now alot of people have probably said this before but anyways im upgrading my CPU and i need a bios update for it to work with my motherboard and im just to scared ill download the wrong bios or what ever

Does this have some sort of fail safe lets say if i download the wrong one can i use the flash bios button on the board to fix it incase of a power outage

What about the format of the USB drive just FAT32 or anything?

Fat32 yes, no your power goes out during a bios update say by to the board most likely. Sorry it sucks but the bios fails the system bricks. Only the mobo most times not always. If your mobo is what you say it is then you wont download the wrong one from the link I posted.

Only have the .cap file on the formated USB at fat32

Alright just finished updating the BIOS putting in my new CPU now
