[SOLVED] BIOS update?

according to command prompt BIOS version is A.00 and System Info shows American Megatrends Inc. A.00, 3/21.2017

do I need to update it? that version seems old

BIOS isn't something you update unless you are having problems now.

If PC works fine, stay on what you have.

It doesn't happen often but you can brick the motherboard if the bios update doesn't work right, so I only suggest updating it if you have new hardware that needs it or you are having problems you can't work out any other way.

Which MB and CPU ? Unless you have problems or newer BIOS promises substantial improvements, updating BIOS will change nothing.
