Question bios update

Hello! I want to update my mobo's bios to the latest version. I am using version f4 (shown in the link below). My question is: do I have to first do the other bios updates or not? For other versions it says that i have to do other steps before the update, but for the last one it doesn't say something. What do i do?

If you are currently on F4, you DO have to do a bunch of intermediate updates first.

F41-F50 requires F40
F40 requires F32 (if using Q-Flash)
F30 requires a chipset update

for the last one (F30), the chipset update is only available on windows. I am running linux. Can I ignore this one, or i just can't do the bios updates?

I don't believe you can ignore.

I think this is the same board I used for my grandsons system.
You could NOT skip required steps. It would just fail.

do you know if there is a way to get the chipset updates for linux?
