Hi I want to ask if I can do something in my Laptop Toshiba portege m750. There is a ACPI 3.00 Verion bios on it, and i have windows10 64bit pro.
My problem is that I haven;t Memory Remap option. Can I upgrade my bios with something else so I can have Memory remap option or is something that I can do to unlock this option if exists. Thank you

Is there a more up-to-date BIOS version for this model on Toshiba's site? If so, there's not much you can really do here. Prebuilts and laptops frequently have very limited BIOS options.

It would probably be more useful to spell out what the problem is and/or what you're trying to do as it's very rare that there's any purpose to fiddling with these settings.

Thank you for your answer. There is not newest bios for my model in Toshiba's site. There is newer version for other models. My problem is that I can not use all my memory size without memory remap option. This is the page.

Perhaps I could downgrade to this version Version 1.60 but I can'not because I have windows 10 instead of windows vista

Trying to use the wrong BIOS could brick your laptop. I'm not sure you have good options here unless there's another reason you can't access all your RAM. Do you have details on what's going on there? Did this laptop originally have a 32-bit OS?

This laptop is old. But it has original 64-bit-OS. Windows 10 pro.
My only chance is if I manage to do a memorυ remap . Is there any custom bios witch support memory remap option? Can I do something else? If I make it I can put 8gb Ram.

No, I'm asking if when this laptop was new, did it have a 64-bit OS, not if you have an original Windows 10 Pro now.

Also, did you add memory? If so, how have you checked for compatibility?
