Hi, I think there must be a way of pulling this off:
I have set my bios to turn the PC on at 9AM everyday. (Wanted every week day - not an option with my motherboard, shame about that) The idea being that when i'm at work my PC starts up and loads bit torrent and is accessible via remote desktop connection.
The problem is: for bit torrent (Vuze) to load up the user must log in. I have found out auto logon is possible, but I don't ever want my PC accessible without putting a password in, ever.
So does anyone know a way of configuring the PC to detect when it has been automatically booted: log on and then switch user so bit torrent can run in the background and the PC is secure, but not auto logon any other time?
If its any hint the PC will boot the same time everyday obviously, so can a scheduled task be made to log it on at 9.05AM and then quickly switch user?
Thanks for any kind of suggestion.
