Hi all,
I recently wanted to update my BIOS because it was 5-6 years old (Yeah I know
) and got searching on HP's website. I should also mention what my specs are:
I used HP's own flash tool downloaded from their website.
After a successful flash, the system rebooted and I pressed F10 to enter the BIOS.
I turned on automatic updates, and selected the "Check Daily" setting.
After the system rebooted, I was prompted with this image:

As you can (hopefully) see, the BIOS wants to downgrade itself!
Could it be possible that I just flashed a non-official BIOS update? Or is it simply an error, cause I don't see any other errors with this current BIOS. (v02.75)
UPDATE:

UPDATE:
Quoted from Inxie, an amazing Imgur user, sourceIt's entirely possible a problem was found in the latest BIOS so a rollback is being pushed to prevent problems from arsing.
