Hi all,
I bought today a new computer on which I still need to install Windows 10 by USB.
Now my question is if I need to change something specific in the Bios during the first install or changing the boot order will be sufficient?

below the components:
Msi b450 pro max
Amd ryzen 5 3600
Ssd adata 512 gb m.2 pcie nvme xpg sx8200 pro
Msi geforce rtx 2070 super gaming x trio 8gb
G. Skill Trident z Rgb DDR4 16gb 3200 cl16
Corsair txm 550w

regards and thank you

u should disconnect all your drives where you dont want your windows installed
otherwise boot files may appear on one drive and windows will be on another drive...can mess things up if u later on want to remove some drives and happens to discover pc wont boot even if u didnt remove system drive

otherwise bios settings
CSM off to go full uefi
secure boot set to enabled or disabled before u install windows, as u cant change it later on

I recently installed a NVMe M.2 drive with Windows 10 on a new MSI X470 motherboard.

Changes to BIOS:
Legacy & UEFI to UEFI

Nothing there for secure boot.
No change to boot order from default settings.

I made new Windows 10 ISO from Microsoft website.
Used Rufus to make bootable UEFI installation flash drive that used the ISO file.

Installed Windows 10 by booting up flash drive. (used Microsoft license key)
Ran AMD uninstaller software
AMD Cleanup Utility | AMD

Ran newest AMD Chipset driver download.
Ran newest video card software for my AMD video card.
Set memory XMP profile.
