I have a hard drive with a ton of files on it, and I am trying to transfer it from my old computer to my new one.
I know it works and have it partitioned and compressed.
I attached it to my power supply and confirmed it is getting power (it vibrates and makes sounds).
I used two different SATA cables to attach it to my motherboard (B350-F) in two different SATA ports, and I enabled hot plug in my BIOS to both ports, The BIOS is the latest version, and it says it cannot detect any connection from either SATA port. (Both SATA ports are in the same area)
I updated the AHCI drivers, and cannot find an option to put it into IDE mode.
External hard drives work fine, but I would not like to use a converter and instead have an internal hard drive.
Also, my BIOS is UEFI.
