[SOLVED] BIOS & Windows not showing my HDD

I recently bought a new SSD, as listed above. I did not have enough SATA cables so I disconnected my HDD and used those cables until I purchased new cables for it.

Once I purchase my new cables I connect my HDD into the SATAe ports, while the other two SSDs were connected to the two non SATAe ports.

I booted up in bios and windows, but neither of them showed the existence of the HDD.

I feel vibrations from the HDD so im pretty sure that it is powered on.

I don't know how to get my HDD visible, or if I should change the ports my drives are connected too.

Any and all answers are appreciated!

If it does not show in BIOS, it will not show in windows.

What happens if you only use the standard sata ports (you have 6 of them).

That's the problem. The 4 normal SATA ports don't seem to work, whilst the 2 SATA express ports do.

if you have checked your bios settings to make sure that they are properly configured, you may have a dud mobo

you should check to see if the SATA express ports disable any SATA ports when they are used
