Hello, everyone. I'm sorry if I'm in the wrong section, kind of desperate here.
So I'm installing Windows 10 on my father's laptop and it runs into ACPI Bios error. From that moment on I couldn't do anything on that laptop anymore as it gets into a loop of restarts. It also doesn't let me access bios, which I think is a separate problem that was happening before but I thought I had gone around it by managing to start the installation of the Windows by using the prompt.
So I removed the HDD from the laptop, put it on another computer and installed Windows 10 just fine. As soon as I put the HDD back in the laptop the problem is back, which then got me to Google to find the solution.
Looks like it could be the Bios version and I could try to fix it by updating it. But then how can I update the Bios version of I can't access the Bios, the system won't start and it doesn't show any boot options? I'm stuck...
The computer is a Samsung NP270E5E which I believe will help me find the model of the motherboard (as I don't intend to open the back of the computer and I'm also assuming it's a standard model for these computers). Any suggestions? Like a real tutorial of how to go around a computer that doesn't open the Bios or the system but needs to have its bios updated? =(
