BIOS wont open.

When we press ESC we get this but we dont get into bios. It stays on the screen for less than a second. His bios is Legacy not UFEI. We dont have disk to set it to UFEI. I found a solution to set it to UFEI, dont know if it works but wont want to try since his laptop may not support it.

so you now need to hit the key that gets you into bios.

Unfortunately there is no standard.

It could be the delete key or one of the Function keys , I think its F2 on the Acer Aspire.

You may have to google based on your actual model, or look in the product manual.

most common keys on Acer are Del and F2 though ctrl+alt+esc is also used on some models. As stated there is not a standard button, especially when using an OEM setup like Acer.
