Hello I have a Gateway NV7915u laptop manufacture April 2010. It has two sata drive slots. It came with one 500gb. I purchased a 120ssd and a 2tb to be used together. The bios will see both the 120ssd and the 500gb if installed together but if the 120ssd and 2tb are together only the ssd is seen. 2tb does not show up in disk management or device manager in windows. The 2tb is formatted mbr. I am using AHCI mode.
2tb is seen by windows if the laptop if installed in an external enclosure. I purchased the 2tb to be used as a 2nd internal drive.
Could my machine have a hard drive size limit that a 2tb can't be used?
Bios is InsydeH20 updated the bios to the newest version 1.08.
