BIOs wont save Multipler settings.

So after getting my first post answered, I've already gotten another problem! Lucky me!

So i established that for my i53570k to run at 4.2ghz, i had to run an offset of +0.05 which caused spikes of 1.256v. I decided to lower the multiplier to 4.0, as i dont really need 4.2 as i only game on this PC. The problem is, the BIOs doesnt save the setting! It saves everything else apart from the multiplier. I even reset all my BIOs settings and it continued to fire up at 4.2 (checking in CPUZ).

Any answers would be extremely appreciated! Thanks.

What is the motherboard?

Its a P8Z77-V LX.

Solved it.

Updated the BIOs and things started to stick again.

Could be a corrupt bios. Try and reflash it to see if it will fix it.
