Bioscan for dell system 9100

I am having troubles booting my computer. When I turn it on it says:
"Drive 1 not found ATA, SATA 1" exc through 3 and then it says SATA Primary hard disk drive 0 failure.

My friend said it needs a bio scan but I don't know how to do that.

Try opening up your PC and unplug/replug the cables from the motherboard to the HDD, on both ends too. See if that fixes it.

I'm sorry I don't know much about computers where is the plug that goes from the hdd to the motherboard.?

It also clicks like three times before it starts to work. And then that message shows up.
