I've been getting weird fps drops in Bioshock Infinite. Normally I get a fairly constant 60fps, but anytime the combat heats up my fps takes a nose dive. My gpus are nowhere near maxed out and as far as I can tell, the cpu isnt being stressed either. Anyone have any idea as to the cause of the fps drops?

Win 7 64
i7-870 3gz
12 gigs ddr3
560ti x2 sli latest wqhl drivers

When I used to have a GTX 560 Ti I had a similar problem once. The problem was caused by the drivers. After updating to the Beta drivers, the problem went away. Try older drivers or updating to Beta.

I've gotten a little deeper into the game and now I'm getting freqeunt fps drops just walking around the city. My gpu's go from 60% usage down to around 20% for a few seconds and then It will go back up,. I OC'd my cpu a little just in case i was running into a bottleneck but it didn't seem to help much. Anyone eles encounter anything similar to this?

Disable sli and then try playing.
