Bioshock2 playing the game is completely unsupported,unstable¬ recommended???

Message(this game requires DirectX 9.0c or later(see release notes for instructions on how to obtain it) playing the game on this hardware is completely unsupported, unstable, and not recommended, do you wish to continue anyway?
That's what I get when I try and start the game, I did make sure I have directx 9 and my system has 16GB RAM a 2GB MSI graphics card a 2TB HDD and an i5 3.2MHZ CPU with windows 7 64BIT, please tell me what this message mean because I do not get the joke?????

Look in the game directory for the CommonRedist folder, and install the DirectX file located there. Go to your games installation directory
....steam\steamapps\common\BioShock 2 Remastered\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010
and run "dxsetup.exe"
