So the motherboard claims to have this feature on it as well as an eco mode, but for this thread, I'm focusing on the sport mode. It claims to give it an instant boost in ways I cannot find, but it seems to take up a bit more power as shown on their website (which the psu can handle). The problem is, my pentium g4560 is considered a locked cpu. Plus, this isn't a motherboard which outright claims it can manually overclock a cpu or gpu (Like the motherboards with a "Z" in front). So, is this feature an actual feature or a fake?

Sounds like BS. Pretty sure eco takes advantage of intel speed stepping to save power. With "sport mode" enabled it will run at it's highest base clock? That's what I'd assume, because I know for damn sure...

That's what I'd assume, because I know for damn sure that board cannot overclock. For future reference, never buy a biostar motherboard, they're on the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to manufacturer's.

Thanks for the advice. I will probably be getting a gigabyte or Asus motherboard when I can rake in the money for a rather higher quality build. But the info you gave seems accurate to me.
