BIOSTAR RACING Z170GT7 LGA 1151 Intel Z170 will it boot from nvme ssd

Hello. well i bought a Adata xp6000 ssd and have looked for help on it....i installed it on a different mother board and windows found it ok but when i put in my biostar mobo it wont post is there setting in the bios that i need to change first.. the biostar board boots fine with the 120 gig ssd sata3 drive in it i have tried finding more info but to luck so far so i thought maybe somebody here could offer me some help thanks for any help provided

You can't install the OS on a drive in one system, and then move that to another system.

The OS needs to be install on the drive, in the system where it will live.

thanks for your reply.....but that aint what i am doing....... what i am saying is i cant get it to boot no post screen or nothing so i was wondering if the biostar mother board can boot from the Adata xp6000 or is there a setting for a nvme boot option i have it on first boot option but nothing happens thanks for your time

Did you attempt to install the OS, on this ADATA drive, while it was in the Biostar system?
