Hi guys... I've some questions about this new board.
I've built a pc for my friend with this 690G board and X2 3800+, display connected via DVI to 19" widescreen Acer monitor..After Windows and all drivers installed, I tried adjust the resolution to full monitor supported 1440x900 32bit 75Hz and then some weird distorted blue lines came out on windows desktop...Tried update the display driver to catalyst suite 7.3 but still got this problem... Changed the cable to standard VGA cable and the problem disappeard... Weird...
Another thing is Cool n Quiet function not working although I've installed AMD cpu driver..Using CPU-Z 1.39, I only saw the core voltage dropped to 1.0v but clock still at 2.0GHz...Searched in BIOS but there was no option to enable/disable this function,tried update the latest bios but still no go..No Smart fan either...Weird...
If anybody here has the same problems and solution could you share with me? Thanks for help...
