My Motherboard "BIOSTAR TH67+" Is having some issues.. I recently purchased a i7 3770 LGA1155 Processer for it. And when I put it in, it fit perfectly, but it didnt boot... just multiple beeps. But when I put back my i3 2100 it works fine. A few years ago I tried a i5 2500k and had the same issue. Updating the BIOS back then and reflashed it again did not help? Anybody having this issue with this board?

Thanks

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

That board will support 3rd Gen Intel processors but after a BIOS update. You might want to see if the motherboard has the right BIOS version by using a 2nd Gen intel processor to boot the system with.

On a side note, please parse the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:

Have you inspected the CPU's socket pins if any of them are bent or broken? On that note, what cooler are you using for the processor(s)?

Vendor: BIOSTAR Group
Model: TH67+
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz - 4 cores
Memory: 8 GB (4 x DIMM2: G Skill Ripjaws F3-10666CL9-4GBRL)
Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series

Problem was solved with the motherboard Rapid Debug feature. One ram stick was defective and did not work with the new i7 3770. But it worked when the i3 2100 was installed. The Rapid Debud Leds were under my Radeon. Saw the after removing the card and was able to diagnose the issue.

Hello, new guy here.
I also happen to have almost the same setting.

MB: BIOstar TH67+ BIOS ver. H67BRC15.BST
Processor : Intel Core i3 2100
RAM : 12 GB ( 8 + 4)
VGA : GT 1030
SSD : V-gen 128 GB
PSU : corsair 600W

since I already update the BIOS to support the 22nm , I thought that the MB can handle the i7 3770K.
But weird things happen the MB just don't boot up, I even tried to remove the RAM but no beep sound.

I've tried all regular things to check, in the end I install my old i3 2100, everything works fine. It seems that this TH67+ really doesn't support the i7 3770K even though they said support in the website.
