With 212 EVO my 3570k 1.1V got to 64 C @ 3.6 Ghz under prime 95. I don't think I wont the "silicone lottery" on the contrary I think my chip is average at best.

Seeing typical idle temps of 26-35, prime 95 high 50's low 60's..

Think I'm running hot?

Yes. It's a well known fact that Intel used thermal paste to join the die to the IHS rather than solder.
