Bit Coin Machine

Hello, i am just curious what a common set up would be for a bitcoin machine basically, like what parts and how much you would make per week / month or so with being in a pool and typical operating costs.

It's about 2 years too late to make money just starting out. And a decent mining rig would likely cost $6000 or more; you'd be lucky to ever make that much back.

I've got a 30GH/s unit that has just about paid back it's £600 in 6+ months. To buy 30GH in GPU terms requires >>10 top end AMD GPUs. So the payback is approaching never, unless you believe the winklevoss twins view that bitcoin will have a dollar value of about 40x it's current peak.

Hmm...so if i were to spend around 3,000$ on rig of some sort, it more than likely wouldnt be worth it?

correct. ASICS were the only way to make money, they are borderline, look at butterfly labs, and run it off an old laptop or something as a host. They also have a calculator on there too, factor in production and delivery delays and you'll see that it is barely worth it, if at all.
